New Cancer Hope with an Indian Herbal Remedy

According to findings, presented at the annual meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research,a team at the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute found that the extracts of triphala can slowed the growth of human pancreatic tumours grafted onto mice.
" Triphala triggered the cancerous cells to die off and significantly reduced the size of the tumours " said Professor Sanjay K Srivastava of the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute.
Triphala,contains the dried and powdered fruits of three plants, is a herbal preparation used in the traditional Indian medicine system Ayurveda to ease intestinal-related disorders and make good digestion.
